Dando has recently completed commissioning of one of our Dando 3000 buffalo waterwell rigs supplied via UNICEF to Tsunami relief housing projects in Sri Lanka. The rig is successfully drilling with 15″ shell and auger tooling and during the commissioning period completed two high yield waterwells of 32ft and 55ft depth. The Dando 3000 Buffalo is a very effective drilling rig that is easily operated and maintained for many years. In certain geological conditions, the Buffalo can offer an extremely cost efficient drilling rig when compared to larger, more complex rotary rigs.
