Two machines of similar basic specification have recently left Dando’s workshop. These two machines although both 2 tonne pullback capacity, are destined for very different applications.

One of the rigs is a versatile waterwell drilling machine for shallow water well work in very remote regions of East Africa. This rig is mounted on a rugged Ford F550 4×4 truck to stand up to the tough and hazardous roads it will traverse between drill sites. The WaterTec 2 was supplied to a UN aid agency along with a second Ford F550 carrying a compressor.

The other rig is a Geotechnical rig bound for the Persian Gulf. This rig is trailer mounted to be used primarily for coring. Dando has seen demand for geotechnical rigs and equipment increase in line with the construction boom the region is currently experiencing

These two machines are just a small sample of how Dando engineering can provide a wide range of machines, for an equally diverse customer base.
