The first of the new breed of multi-purpose Dando drilling rigs was recently commissioned.

The rig is being run by Terra Firma Ground Investigation and in the pictures below was drilling a waterwell in a domestic setting in Surrey. Terra Firma are also using the machine to install geothermal heat-pump ground loops.
