The Dando Mud-Buster MPL 1000/1700 is ideal for GSHP drilling as well as water-well work where site space is at a premium and drilling efficiency paramount.

The Dando Mud Buster MPL 1000/1700 is a fully featured mud conditioning system designed to

make mud drilling cleaner, neater and easier without the need for mud pits.

Cuttings are effectively retrieved from the cutting medium extending drill string and rig life while clearing boreholes effectively to maximise productivity. The mud buster is quickly mobilised and easy to operate.

The Dando Mud Buster MPL 1000/1700 with handle and clean 60 Cubic Metres per hour of drilling fluids, with a capacity of 1,900 Litres in the main holding tank and 700 Litres in the Clean holding tank. 60,000 Cubic Litres/Hour, equivalent to 1,000 Litres/Min 2,600 Litre (686 Gallon) Mud Tanks: Construction of the holding tanks is 5mm thick HG plate. Main holding tank has a capacity of 1,900 Litres with second clean tank holding 700 Litres. A dual mud tank operation ensures that the drilling mud is cleaned twice before re-injection.

The clean tank has a 4” outlet connection to the on board mud pump. The main tank is fitted with a liquid agitator to ensure that all fines are suspended. Double Screen Shaker: Available in various sizes with constant speed control. Capable of filtering 150 micron. Well Head Unit: Return pump from the borehole is identical to the submersible located in the main holding tank.

The pump can handle up to 1,700 Litres/Min (449 GPM). Weight is 14 Kg’s. Cyclone De-Sander: Two De-sander cones capable of de-silting 1,000 Litres/Min. Centifugal pump identical to the submersible well head unit.

Capable of de-sanding 50 micron.

Four Cylinder Engine: Fully covered and positioned within a quick release power pack unit.

The unit is self contained and can be removed or replaced instantaneously, massively decreasing on site down time.

Hydraulic System Complete: The hydraulic are of a closed loop type and are fully variable speed controlled.

On Board Mud Pump Unit: Centrifugal hard cased unit. The mud pump is capable of delivering 100 Cubic Metres/Hour (1,666 L/Min) at 2,800 RPM/137 Psi. The pump has a 2” outlet and comes complete with all hoses up to pump discharge.

Skid mount. The footprint is 3,400mm (L) x 1,200mm (W) x 2,100 (H), with a total weight of 2,700 Kgs. The size and weight ensures that the self contained unit is ideal for easy mounting on to a trailer, tracks or free issue truck.
