Multitec 4000 MK3 Drilling in Peru

Dando recently commissioned and provided on-site training for a Peruvian customer’s Multitec 4000 MK3 where it was conducting in situ testing, HQ wireline coring and DTH drilling.

Based in Lima the customer is a specialist in civil engineering, geotechnical investigation and construction, offering a range of services including geotechnical drilling, laboratory testing and consultancy.

The latest Mk3 version of the Multitec 4000 has more power, a highly efficient Bosch-Rexroth hydraulic system, revised layout of deck components and an improved, lower and more central centre of mass for the ultimate stability in uneven and sloping terrain. This rig is one of three MK3 rigs already sold.

Ingeotest had also previously acquired a Dando Terrier rig which has been used on many projects including carrying out geotechnical research for the Pagoreni A – Malvinas flow line of the Camisea gas project.
