Dando Terriers in Namibia and Uganda
Last month Dando Drilling carried out visits to three of its key customers in Namibia and Uganda.
Commissioning engineer Steve Goulding and sales engineer Callum Mee met with two large scale mineral exploration customers in Namibia who had both recently purchased the Dando Terrier. The machines, to be used in open pit mining, were equipped with drive sampling masts and are able to take window samples from 1-8 metres deep.
Feedback for both Dando Terriers was extremely positive and each party stated how impressed they were with the rig and the service provided by Dando. The purchase of the machine for mineral exploration underlines the versatility of the Dando Terrier -a machine which is growing ever more popular for all types of mining projects.
Elsewhere in Uganda we visited one of our biggest clients of recent years and with whom we have a fantastic relationship. This was an opportunity to meet the staff that we have worked closely with over the years and to see how we can improve the service provided going forward. The visit followed their recent purchase of a Dando 2000 and Dando Terrier for geotechnical drilling. They have also placed an order for one of Dando’s 6 ton rigs.
Overall the visit was highly productive in maintaining a strong relationship and gaining feedback from our clients in Africa; High customer satisfaction is a very important aspect of business for Dando Drilling.
